A Story In Every Page...

Hi Everyone!!
I have just finished my book Afterwards by Rosamond Lupton, it is another one of my mum's, I was written differently, I have never read one like it before! If anyone has read it I would like to know there opinion! The end was quite a surprise... For anyone that has not read it, it's about a mother and daughter caught in a school fire and are seriously injured. Its from the mum point of view as a spirit with her daughter, was it arson or fraud? Anyway it was quite interesting each new page was a new experience.

So NOW I'm reading my younger brother books... there by David Walliams. I love David Walliams! My brother has met him on the radio, interview etc. I was jealous! He's done lots of charity like swim the Thames and channel. He has written 4 books, I read Billionaire boy on a plane journey somewhere, and the boy in the girls dress quite a while ago. They are a kids comedy but I find them funny and a nice easy read, so I'm reading another one called Gangsta Granny, read about 20 pages and engrossed, and the last one is Mr Stink. There are some pictures in the book and they are drawn by Quentin Blake! What an honour!

I'll just finish the next page!

When I wrote my first blog I was reading the Devil's star by Jo Nesbo, its a mystery, thriller book, I have read another from the series called the Snowman, they are very clever books, and very gruesome, I would recommend them but they are adult books with adult content, graphic description and violent language.

At the moment I am currently reading 'Rosie Hopkins Sweetshop of dreams' by Jenny Colgan. Its my mum book,a chick flick, I do prefer a more action, adventure book to this laid back quite relaxing book, however it is rather nice for a change! The beginning was hard to get into but farther on through the book I got more engaged with characters lives and now I can't put it down... I would recommend this book, but maybe if you in the mood other wise it can get a bit boring, although I have to say I does make me want a lot of sweets!!!

Just Keep Reading

I love reading, I always have! I had the obsession since I can remember and continue to read whenever I can! I feel that in order to get into reading you have to find a book to get into, for me it was the rainbow fairy books, there was loads of them and I loved them, it was a sad day when I had to give them all away, But it pleased me that some other little kid gets to have the pleasure and fun that I had!

I hope that other kids enjoyed reading as much as I did, I know my family do! It took a while to get my brothers into it but we got there in the end! Now they are reading all my old books! I read a variety of types including boyish books but I don’t mind a good romance book! But give a good book to me and I’m happy!
